Running at Implats, Seriti and Thungela, and at mines and plants across southern Africa.

WHAT SLOWS YOUR CLINIC DOWN, AND THE FIX
Every clinic pain has an answer.
Five things that slow a clinic down, and what changes with Abby.
Workers are back on shift fast
QUEUES COST SHIFTS
About three minutes each, up to 20 an hour. Workers check themselves and go back to work.
Every result is digital
PAPER SLOWS REPORTING
We connect to leading occupational health systems and any system with an API. Where there is no connection yet, results are on your dashboard and export as CSV, Excel or PDF.
Nurses see the flagged cases
NURSES STUCK ON VITALS
The Abby station takes the routine vitals. Your nurse sees every flagged result and follows up the workers who need it.
Running in under an hour
NEW KIT IS HARD TO PLACE
About one floor tile. Fits through normal doors and lifts. Runs on its own SIM or on site WiFi.
We see it first
WHEN SOMETHING STOPS
Every Abby station reports its own status to us. If one goes offline, we see it from our side.
BEFORE AND AFTER
The same clinic, with an Abby station in it.
Nothing about your process changes. The queue does.
THE QUEUE
Today
Workers wait for a nurse to take their vitals, one at a time.
YOUR NURSE
Today
Spends the shift on routine readings.
THE QUEUE
With an Abby station
Workers check themselves in about three minutes. Up to 20 an hour per Abby station.
YOUR NURSE
With an Abby station
Starts with the numbers. Sees the flagged results and the workers who need follow up. Up to 50% of vitals work comes off the nurse, where clinics use Abby for vitals.
Tell us how many medicals you do a month and we work through the nurse hours with you on the call.
THE RECORD
Today
Captured by hand first, or typed in manually. That takes more time than it needs to and opens the door to errors.
TIME OFF THE JOB
Today
Longer away from the shift.
Your practitioner still reviews the records and signs the certificate of fitness.
THE RECORD
With an Abby station
Saved digitally the moment it is taken.
TIME OFF THE JOB
With an Abby station
Back on shift sooner.
YOUR MEDICAL, IN ORDER
Abby does the vitals. Your clinic does the rest.

Your practitioner still signs.
Abby supports the certificate of fitness process. It does not issue certificates.
STEP 1
Abby station
Vitals in about three minutes. Blood pressure, pulse, temperature, blood oxygen, height, weight and body composition. The worker does it alone, before the consultation. Up to 20 an hour per Abby station.
STEP 2
Your nurse
Flagged readings and finger prick tests. With a nurse on site, finger prick glucose and cholesterol are done by your nurse. Raised readings are flagged, so your nurse rechecks them.
STEP 3
Your clinic’s own tests
Lung function, hearing, urine and X ray stay with the kit and the people you use today. The Abby station does not do them.
STEP 4
Your practitioner
Reviews the records and signs the certificate of fitness. The Abby station does not issue certificates.
STEP 5
The record
Every Abby station result is saved digitally the moment it is taken, flagged readings marked for the nurse, ready for DMPR reporting.
The Abby station sits at the front of the medical. Nothing else moves.
WHAT YOU GET BACK
A record for every worker, every visit.
Every worker, every visit leaves a record you can show the inspector and the union. A raised reading is flagged for your nurse.
Results on WhatsApp
FOR EACH WORKER
Each worker gets their results and next steps on WhatsApp in most South African languages, including English, Afrikaans, isiZulu, isiXhosa and Sesotho.
A group report
FOR YOUR TEAM
For the site, after every deployment.
A live dashboard
FOR THE CLINIC
Screenings as they happen.
FOR REPORTING
Your stats, on your dates
Records export as CSV, Excel or PDF. The live dashboard shows usage across any time band you choose. Ready for DMPR returns and your monthly reporting. You can export them yourself, any time.
Since 2019
in mine and plant clinics
92%
of workers seen at one of our mining clients in the past year have screened more than once
countries: South Africa, Botswana, Namibia, Zimbabwe

WAYS TO WORK WITH US
Abby in your clinic, all year round.
A new clinic usually starts with a call and a paid Show Day at your site. Groups already running Abby can add sites under the agreement they already have. An Abby station usually makes sense when your clinic does about 420 or more vitals checks a month. Below that, event days are a better fit.
BEST FOR MINE CLINICS
Abby all year round
An Abby station in your clinic all year round, for one monthly service fee.
FOR CAMPAIGNS
Event days
On site screening for wellness weeks, campaigns, and smaller clinics below about 420 checks a month.
WHAT THE FEE COVERS
Everything in one fee
The Abby station, the software, the integrations, your branding and a live dashboard.
STEP 1
A call
We learn your clinic volumes and workflow, and check an Abby station fits. If you already run Abby at another site, this is where we add yours.
STEP 2
Show Day
A paid day with an Abby station at your site. It runs like a wellness day and doubles as an in person demonstration, so your team and workers try it. Large groups can start with a pilot.
STEP 3
All year round
An Abby station in your clinic for one monthly service fee. Software and integrations included. The dashboard shows usage across any time band you choose.
One monthly service fee covers the Abby station, the software, the integrations, your branding and a live dashboard. No charge to the worker. Mines plan budgets months ahead, so tell us your budget cycle and we work to it. We quote on your clinic’s own volumes, so the sum is yours, not an average.
See it working at your site.
Start with a call. Then a paid Show Day at your site, then Abby in your clinic all year round.

QUESTIONS CLINICS ASK
Before the Show Day.
ACCURACY
How accurate is it next to our clinic equipment?
The Abby station is a screening tool, not a diagnosis. Every raised reading is flagged, so your nurse rechecks it on your own equipment before the practitioner sees it. See how we check quality.
HEIGHT AND WEIGHT
Workers wear safety boots and overalls. What does that do to height and weight?
Height and weight are taken with shoes and work clothes on. Keep the same footwear from one Abby check to the next so the trend holds.
PRIVACY
Who sees a worker’s result?
The worker, on WhatsApp. The appointed health practitioners, by name. Only they see names. Site and group reports show shares, never a name.
HEART RISK
What is the 10 year heart risk based on?
It is a screening estimate worked out from the person’s own details and readings. It is not a diagnosis. Your nurse or practitioner reviews it with the rest of the medical.
