WHY CLINICS USE ABBY
Less waiting. Full records.
FOR PATIENTS
Shorter waits
Vitals happen while patients wait, not in the consulting room.
FOR THE CLINIC
Complete records
Every reading saved digitally, every time.
FOR NURSES
Nurse time for care
Nurses start with the numbers already in front of them.
HOW CLINIC DEPLOYMENTS ARE FUNDED
Every station has a payer.
One of four parties funds Abby in the clinic all year round, for one monthly service fee. We help you work out which one fits.
PAYER 1
An employer
A company funds an Abby station in the clinic its workers use.
A medical scheme
PAYER 2
A scheme funds screening for its members at the clinic.
A donor or programme
PAYER 3
A funded health programme pays for screening in the community.
A department
PAYER 4
A provincial or municipal health department funds it as part of its own service.
HOW IT RUNS IN A BUSY CLINIC
Three steps, in the waiting area.
STEP 1
Check in
The patient steps up to the Abby station while they wait, scans in and follows the screen. About three minutes each, up to 20 an hour.
STEP 2
The nurse opens the readings
Blood pressure, pulse, temperature, blood oxygen, weight, height, BMI and body fat are already on the dashboard when the patient reaches the nurse. Raised readings are flagged first.
STEP 3
The record
Every reading is saved digitally. We connect to leading occupational health systems and any system with an API. Where there is no connection yet, results are on your dashboard and export as CSV, Excel or PDF.
