Who owns the data? +
Each person agrees before their check and gets their own results. Your report is anonymised. Records stay in South African data centres, encrypted. Each client’s data is kept apart from every other client’s. What you receive, in what format and how often, goes in writing before the first Abby station.
INDEPENDENCE
Are you tied to another scheme or a wellness provider? +
No. Abby Health is an independent company, not owned by any scheme, insurer or wellness provider.
BLOODS
Does the Abby station do bloods? +
Not on its own. Glucose and cholesterol are finger prick tests, done with a nurse on site, yours or ours. HIV testing is the same. Everything else, over 20 results, is done with no needles in about three minutes.
ACCURACY
How accurate are the measurements? +
The station takes the vitals itself: blood pressure, body fat, blood oxygen and the rest. It is a screening device, not a diagnosis, so results are indicative. Every raised reading is flagged for a nurse to recheck, and repeat checks show the trend. See how we check quality.
LEADS
Do you sell leads? +
No. We charge for the screening. We do not sell leads and we are not paid on what a member buys afterwards.

Can Abby run at the days we already fund, with our vendor? +
Yes. Your vendor keeps the day. Abby takes the queue and the record, and everyone at the site is screened in about three minutes.
WHO USES IT
What if only members with a problem use it? +
Everyone at the site can step up, members and people who are not members, whether or not they have a concern. That is what makes the picture useful to you.

Can we fund an Abby station in a public clinic? +
Every Abby station has a payer: an employer, a scheme, a funded programme or a department. A department route takes time, and we will say so before you start.
